I was just looking at the NWA saga and it got me wanting to do a little research..

I checked the O*Net database http://online.onetcenter.org/ and could not pin down a specific job type for Sim-Techs other than "Aerospace Engineering and Operations Technicians"

Anyone got a better idea what it may be classified as (Yeah, I know these job descriptions don't mention cleaning toilets and changing light bulbs)... ??

when i worked sca/wdl contracts, they called us "eletronics repair technician/aviation", but that was over 8 years ago. we were sim techs, but as you found, there was no class for the exact job description as flight simulator tecnician.faintt:

How can you defend or promote a trade and it's pay if it does not exist?
