I just caught this little snippet from an Alteon job advert, it brought a wry smile to my face.. Well us old farts are ruled out - what, with bad backs, midriff, aching joints, shot hearing from all the noise and poorer eyesight - I guess were done for mecry:
While performing their duties, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to climb a ladder on the motion base superstructure to maintain or replace visual components (visual displays, etc.). The employee must also work in tight quarters (control columns, centre pedestals). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, colour vision differentiation for material creation and review, and the ability to adjust focus while reading small print, schematic drawings, and other graphics materials. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
