CAE CRJ-200/-700 conversion

Would like to know, from a tech's perspective, what is involved when accomplishing a change-over from a -200 to a -700 and vice-versa. Mainly how long does it take and are there any major headaches.

We schedule an hour to do the conversion, and it normally takes less than that. (35-45 minutes) Our biggest problem has been bent pins on the overhead connector. Care also needs to be taken around the CB panels as to not pull any of the wires loose.

We were maintaining two visual configurations, one for the -200 and one for the -700 but found that we could go just to one after some work on the log in script. (The light lobes are different between the two aircraft.)
