I am sending this out to pick brains on a focus problem we have been experiencing on our Maxvue projector system with Barco tubes.
All three colors are in need of dynamic focusing, blue and red not being as bad as green. We have have changed the focus card in the projector head chassis. We have spun the horizantal and vertical yoke tabs to maximize but still not up to the other 2 channels.
Possible IG problems? Beer in lieu of money.
Thanks
Slam 1 out.

To isolate between the IG or the projector, use the projector?s internal test pattern. If the focus is still bad with the internal test pattern, NULL your dynamic focus and only use your static focus, go up and down in values to see if you can get a sharper image. If not, this could be caused by the optical focus, like the shiempflug or lens depending of the type of system you have.

Good advice already by Pitman.

let us know if you have solved teh problem with these, otherwise we may have some furter tips burnout:

We are pretty experienced in Maxvue systems with barco prjectors as we have such a system on our SIM too

Thanks Guys,
We got the problem solved. It seems the mounting bolts have some fore/aft movement in them. Therefore we made a slight adjustment to move the focal point enough and get it in.
If you ever find your self in Atlanta look me up at the Alteon shop.
Thanks again
