There's a reason why that shop has such a high turnover.

If the management there were doctors, they'd keep a ruptured appendix, and throw out the patient.

Could someone clue me in on Northwest? I appiled for and was interviewed and offered a position of a systems engineer about 3 years ago but at the last interview when they offered me the job I ask to see the simulators and take a tour of the facility they flat out refused? They ask me why I wanted to look at the simualtors they told me if you seen one simulator you seen them all? I have worked for other airlines and have never been told that I could not tour the facility in fact most others place I have interviewed for or worked took people on a tour at the start. Anyway I told Northwest no thanks if then where embarrassed by there facility and could not show it to me there was no way I would take their job offer. Could someone let me in on what the hell they are thinking up there? :sadwavey:

Whatever gave you the idea the management running that place is thinking?

Thinking is a rational process where one draws an informed conclusion based on observable criteria...emphasis on the word rational.

Ever since January of 2003, the best that can be said for the people running that department is that if you laid the senior management end-to-end, they'd never reach a decsion.

Regarding:Could someone let me in on what the hell they are thinking up there?

They are thinking they can run a sim shop effectively with management having no sim shop experience, and no input from sim :banghead: techs.
