The rules here are simple:
This is a discussion area and is designed for people to use their brains... plain and simple. The last thing most of us want to see on here are the mindless cut-n-pastes that usually get passed around via email. If you can't think for yourself and type an original sentence, then you have no business in here. If you want to quote articles, that's fine. If you want to cut-n-paste whole pages without commentary... then that's another issue. Violations will be deleted.
Speaking of articles - I got in hot water last year with MSNBC because an article was being used out of context and the quotes were not referenced. If you want to place an article on here that was published elsewhere on the web or in print (whether partial or in it's entirety) you must list a link, as well as any other resources. Articles can be a good thing if used as a base for a forum.
No giant fonts or scores of slamming images. Keep it (fairly) clean and go to your corners when you hear the bell. Political cartoons are okay.
Everyone should know what I'm trying to say here. Respond using your own brain cells, don't simply throw up canned responses. Be prepared to get into real debates, and don't plagiarize anything.
