Has anyone heard from simtech204? How about you jsanta, heard from him since Kristina blew through Biloxi? So far, I believe he's the only one from the Sim crew down there who hasn't called anyone yet. I just received some pictures from the Base down there, I'll get them posted today. From what we hear the storm surge traveled about 6 miles inland from the coast. We don't know the condition of our sister simulator down there yet, right now we're just hoping everyone is safe.

Yeah I'm here. thanks for asking simtech625.
I don't think I know simxxi? Did we or do we work together?
Anyhow, the sim is OK and we should be ready for training 9/13/05. We just have to juggle the schedule around. we had some minor damage from Katrina but the building held up great. How did your site come out simtech625?
I'm back in Tampa for awhile to help fill in while the TTC Mgr is on the road.
say Hi to the maintenance guys for me.

Will do buddy, glad to here you came through it in one piece. We heard you might have had some damage to the house, true? We just had a little wind and a little rain, it really did not affect central AR. Go see the lead on WST 3 and say hi to SIMXXI.

Yeah, I had some damage to capets and some furiture, clothes. Things I can replace so it's not so bad. So I'll be back at Keesler the week of the 26th.
Thanks for the info Simtech625.
Is there anyone else from the sim shops who is missing or was anyone's homes wiped out?

Everyone?s been accounted for and no one was hurt. A few people did lose their homes in the storm, and I'm not sure what they doing for living quarters.
Right now I'm in Tampa so I don't know exactly what the status of everyone is.
But CAE USA has been supporting us like you wouldn't believe.
If there was any simtech that needs help because they lost everything due to the storm, I think that something should be posted on here.
We take care of our own... don't we? Maybe some kind of donation area or at least an address where something could be sent.

Thanks Andy ! That's a great idea. And yes we do take care of our own. We helped one tech tear everything out of his house. Most of it could not be replaced because he had collected it from around the world. The other had just purchased his home a few month's earlier. He lost the house and his car.
I can handle the distribution of the donations. They can be sent to:
CAE USA
504 - 1st St. (Bldg.2603)
Keesler AFB,Mississippi
39534
Attn: Mr. Mark Lavin
And for those tech's and everone else....Thank You!
It may not be a bad idea to set up a PayPal account as well, this would make cash donations easier for everyone.
I'll start a new thread and get the ball rolling on this end.

Juan - contact me. we were stationed together at Hahn just before they shut it down. From reading the posts, it sounds like you're on the gulf coast. I'm living in Mobile, Al. currently. Moved to the Ms. gulf coast 5 weeks pre-katrina...which explains why I'm now in Mobile!
