View Full Version : Google Ads - BAD sites showing up in ads

I have very little control over which ads are placed at the bottom of the page. The ad links are automatically generated depending on what the main theme of the existing page is.

These ads pay me a few pennies for every click on the ad, which helps offset the $40 a month charge for this board. (hint hint)

BUT - if you do see an ad which is advertising a site that is inappropriate for this board, please let me know the link suggested in the ad and I can get it banned from any future displays. I recently had an issue brought to my attention regarding a website called "unionfreeamerica" being shown on a union discussion forum page and a NWA ad poping up on a NWA strike discussion.

Please let me know if you see anything like this so that I can take steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks.

Why not put some adult links on your site to make a few pennies. I know nastyb would visit them (HA HA).

I dunna know, what makes a anti-union ad popping up during a union discussion a bad thing. Or are some opinions just not allowed?headscrat Or is the koolaid kicking in now.

All opinions posted here by members are allowed and encouraged.

I just don't want to use up designated advertising space for that sort of thing... as that's a different matter altogether.
