737 Fire Handle LED conversion

I thought I had seen instructions for converting 737 fire handles to LED but I can't find them using a quick search. It involved opening the box and installing a resistor for current limiting.

Does anyone know how this is done? Sim is a CAE 737-700 classic. We want to update it to be compatible with our newer sims and the new SimXXI.

The LED replacements I've seen have been compatable with the old bulb.
For example

They have quite a few replacement sizes available, I've assumed you are replaceing a 387 bulb in the above links.
