Does anyone out there in simland still use a Harris NightHawk 4400 or have any experience with one? I am at my wits end with disk drives. Our system initially had a 1.2 gig SCSI-2 drive which was later replaced with a Seagate ST32272N 2.2 gig SCSI-2. Since then I have bought numerous ST32272N's and tried to do a restore to get a backup drive but keep getting geometry block errors. According to an old Concurrent tech, there was a firmware mod done to the ST32272N drives at Concurrent that took care of this but as Murphy would have it, no one exists who remembers the mod, according to what I am being told by Concurrent. At this point I would rather just replace the whole drive system with something a bit easier to work with. If anyone has been down this road, I would sincerely like to hear from you. If anyone has drives for sale for this system, I would also like to hear from you.Thanks.
