View Full Version : FLAGS now available in the store
Look - I was bored. I really wasn't impressed with the ribbons mod that I did earlier (someone else's design) so I took their idea and created one for flags of all the major countries. You can either use this to display your heritage, or even if you just want to show off all the places you have visited.
It took me 5 hours to write and install this code, so get cracking and spend those points!

Ok lets open a can of worms....What about the Service flags....Navy, Air Force...Etc....?
Ha! I just so happen to be working on that one right now!
The problem that I'm running into is that you rally can't make out what the flag is... until you pass your mouse over it (then a text pops up saying what it is).
I did all the services and a POW MIA one... but I have not set it up yet.
Can you really see what these flag icons represent? Are these good enough??

I can tell also. Looks good!
Flags look great andy, but you misspelled Colombia (O instead of U).
Oops - I never even noticed that. That was the way the original file as labeled.
I think I fixed the file name for the flag & how it was presented. The picture on this thread will still show the old spelling until I redo the image, but the rest should bw okay.
Thanks for pointing out the error.

Any requests for non-US services before I start fiddling with the code???
I'll probably label the new hack as Additional Flags and will include the ones that I posted earlier, along with a few others as they come along. That way it's kept separate from the flags assigned to to countries.

Don't pet the dog or he won't retrieve the birds. Back to work - more games!!!
I'm still planning on adding the service flags. Sorry about the delays but I had ISSUES!!!! Actually, i have been spending countless hours trying to improve the arcade....
One thing about the flag addition I should mention:
If you want to DELETE a flag from your display, you can now do so in your UserCP area (top left of the screen).
This feature has been deleted as of this week because of the ongoing work on the forum upgrade project. It will probably be re-added in sometime this fall, depending on if it is compatible with the new software version.
