View Full Version : Another upgrade planned for August

The company that designed this board's software (vbulletin) just released a major upgrade. I'm hoping on implementing it this month but it means that all the custom work that I've done on the board will more than likely be wiped out.

This includes the spell checker, the bookie, the arcade, the cash points, the radio & TV, and a few more that I can't think of offhand. The upgrade has to be done so the board can stay current with security issues etc.

I'll save what I can, but I can't promise anything. But I wanted to give everyone a heads-up on what may happen if you see things not working.

Dogs can be told what to do - They have owners.

Cats (T Cat) are a bit different, they cannot be told - They have staff.

T Cat will upgrade when it suits him/her.

I just upgraded the forum and the arcade to fix various security issues.

I have NOT tried any of the custom items such as the bank, bookie, etc. Please let me know if you find any issues.

One issue that I have found: Spell Check is inop.

I also wanted to extend thanks to www.Q4services.com (http://www.Q4services.com) and Sabre Updates of Orlando for very generous donations which have paid for the upcoming vBulletin forum software renewal*!

*This forum uses a software license that needs to be updated annually.

The arcade should now be working, parts of it had to be reinstalled. If anyone sees anything that causes errors please let me know or post them online.
