View Full Version : PAYSCALES - updates needed!
I apologize for always bringing this up, but the payscales pages once again needs to be verified. I just updated the page today with some new information that I have but I noticed a few old figures and I'm wondering if they are outdated.
The payscales page (in case you aren't aware of it) is at:
http://www.simtechonline.com/payscales.htm
You can either post updates on this message (please feel free to use the GUEST login), email/private message me any info, fax it to me (my home fax number is (651)452-0740) and I even created an online form which will send it to me without using your email. This form is at: http://www.simtechonline.com/nvform.html
I'm trying a new format for the pay scales page... the old style was just too much of a pain to add additional companies.
The new layout looks good on my pc, but I'm running a large monitor with 1200x1600 resolution. So if it looks bad to anyone with smaller screens, please let me know.
Some of the info has to be outdated, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me keep the page updated and let me know of any new data. There's an online form that you can use that does not use your email system... it's located at
http://www.simtechonline.com/nvform.html
Thanks - everyone here probably thanks you too.

Andy, it is hard to enter information for guys on military contracts since most fall under SCA guidlines. Pay scales are set by the government, though some employers are better than others and pay above the SCA wage scale (determined by the DOL). Somewhere on the web there is a page that lists all SCA wages for all areas of the country. I will try to find it for you.

The ones that I really would like to see updates for are:
American Airlines
America West
UPS
and USAirways
Those 4 are pretty outdated. I did receive United's information (thanks to whoever sent it) and will be updating the page in the next couple of days.

It might take a long time for the Airbus pay scale to get updated. The talks pretty much stopped after we voted the last contract down, the company got goose egged on that offer. The last offer from the company got goose egged because they wanted to give us a pay cut, and this from a place that has a cost of living average that says you need to make well over $60,000 to live, and we can?t make that putting in over 100hrs.overtime. Also we must remember that this from a company that says it is ?number one?, but that is O.K because we give the higher ups $40.000 a year as a car payment. And the funniest thing is the company told us that as simtechs we don?t know how to work on computers, don?t hurt your brain figuring that one out, we all have migraines trying to get that one and we still don?t get it. We finally got everything taken care of for mediation and now the company wants to talk to us after well over two months of ignoring us (don?t want to hurt the ?number one? image) and wanting to reopen negotiations, but what can you expect from the ?number one? company.
I know the comments will be coming so yes, I am a pissed off, disgruntled, and so on and so forth employee, but hey I work for the ?number one? company, what do you expect?
**This comment is under the guest login because our ?higher ups? check this web site to see what we say about the ?number one? company**

Hey Guest? What is the "number one" refering to when talking about your company?huh4:
An outsider's note:
Had a cup of coffee with America West. Suffice to say they'll never steal anyone from another shop. Laughable low pay.

Airbus, at least that is what they call the company, the "number one" company.
