The Don on the list is an x-TD with many years around the USAF on various fighter and airlift sim contracts.

for you non-navy types, "TD" is a nav NEC, navy enlisted code. similar to "MOS" military occupational specialty, that stands for
"Toy Doctor." hee hee hee!!!!rassberry

There's more than one of us having worked for more than one branch of the military. I'm a former AF34199 and I'm also a plank owner at FAIRECONRON SEVEN (VQ-7) USN. There are several AF, Navy and Army "34s/TDs" working here. Most work for L3 Link. I'm government.

in my 14 years in the navy, i never ran across any army or airforce TD's, as i thought the US Navy NEC "TD" stood for "Tradevman", an Aviation designation, but TD's worked in many navy commands from carpenters to photgraphers to instructors to ...TA DA!!!, Simtech's. i have since worked as an aviation simtech and met many Airforce sim techs, ex panam, eastern, and USair, etc., and none claim to be TD"s. I worked at 2 major training centers in my shore tour's, something sea-going rates earn for going out to sea, and worked with many navy TD"s and respect 99% of them. at both commands, we enjoyed a good natured competition and espri de corps.pirate:
