Job Description
Position is located at Kadena Air Base, Japan. Responsible for performance of on-site and on-call maintenance, repair, inspection, testing and operation of the F-15C Mission Training Center pilot training devices IAW Statement of Work requirements. Perform total contractor logistics services on trainer systems and components. Perform all maintenance, inspection, repair, replacement of parts, re-assembly, calibration, testing and operational checks to ensure proper system performance, correct malfunctions and verify the serviceable condition of component, system or subsystem of each trainer system. Provide maintenance on trainer spares and support equipment. Document deficiencies or malfunctions noted in device AFTO 781 logbook and site Field Service Report.

Competencies
Minimum of four years directly related experience required, prefer formalized vocational training programs in aircraft simulator maintenance, avionics and electronics. Experience with computer operating systems, visual imagery and display systems, software, and languages such as Microsoft Windows 98 or newer, Unix, Linex, Vmunix and DOS. Must have strong English writing and communication skills to direct site personnel work assignments and interact with unit customers.

Education
Typically a person in this position would have an Associate Degree.

Why do you think it will be someone hired from inside boeing? Boeing is a equal employment place of work, and all interviews are equal.

Sure the interviews will be fair and equal, once you get one. Good luck if you don't work for Boeing.

If you are qualified you have a good a chance as anybody. 3 of the 4 techs on site were not Boeing before coming here.
