The Flight School XXI training facility was opened for occupancy only one year ago, and FSI-SSD has installed and tested 28 simulators here since that date. Of that 28, there are 25 devices that are currently training U.S. Army aviators.
The Army has logged over 12,000 hours of training in our TH-67 simulators since November 2005. The simulator availability rate during this time was 99.6%.
All of the FSI simulators installed at FSXXI have the electric motion & control systems.

Don't forget like I said in an earlier post, we, well maybe only me, had to dive into the hpu to get parts that dropped into the hpu. I'd much rather mop up electrons than oil, maybe even easier to dive into!

I have had limited time with electric controls, just cant wait to play with FSI electric motion. Been in the HPU tank before and just hairs from a blown hose taken my head off. ( some think that would have been good ) DC-10bump:

It is good to hear that I'm not the only one. I'm sure there are more than just us. The worst part about my going in the tank was trying to find the part with your eyes closed and nose pinched. Of course I could have been told to do that because at the time I was a very junior tech. Maybe it was a hazing thing, who knows. But at least I did get the part out of the HPU.
